The University of Nebraska has added women’s varsity flag football, with its inaugural competitive season planned for spring 2027. College programs need a stronger way to find and develop local talent.
Nebraska, College of Saint Mary and Midland are creating college opportunities. This independent campaign is not sponsored or endorsed by those institutions.

Only one Nebraska Athletic Director is needed to sponsor the first proposal through the NSAA. But lasting momentum takes broader awareness and support. When players, families, coaches and communities contact their own Athletic Directors, school leaders across the state see that this is a statewide opportunity worth exploring.
